- RyezooFebruary 15, 2025For the amount of hype this movie has, it doesn't live up to it. Simply boils down to a good performance stuck in a lifetime movie. Movie does give unique insight to the aftermath of the assassination of JFK and how has wife had to come to terms with it. What hurts this film first and foremost is it cinematography. It looks as if they shot everything on a tripod. The director stated in an interview that a third of the movie was shot in just one take. To me it feels like very uninspired film making. I did like the blending of historic footage and blending it with current. I also enjoyed the score, it nails the mood it's going for. Take Natalie Portman is a fantastic actor, but I really hope somebody else Winston Oscar for best actress this year.
